Our business development managers are often the first people our customers meet – whether that’s existing clients or potential new customers.

With a focus on capacity, programme, range and products, their role is to enable prospective customers to make informed decisions.

This service is enhanced by our estimating team.  There to mediate between our sales, contracts and technical staff, our estimators provide the best help and support we can offer, including cost advice and value engineering.


Every Taylor Lane project is assigned a team of technical design experts.  Our customers benefit from their specialist skills and experience in the design of timber frame, engineered wood products, and steel frame.

Early engagement affords our customers the very best technical guidance and allows them to fully appreciate the benefits of this modern method of construction (MMC).

We are committed to a continuous improvement programme and employ several apprentice and trainee designers.

Contract and Construction Management

With over 40 years’ experience as a specialist timber frame supplier, we have a comprehensive knowledge of what’s required to meet site specific requirements.

We tailor our programmes to suit the demands of each project and to overcome construction challenges.

Our experienced timber frame supervisors and managers oversee the work of our timber frame erectors.  All of whom are STA members.  They control the programme, provide quality assurance and monitor health and safety.


With approximately 75,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space in Hereford and Nantyglo we have the capacity to produce and deliver around 2500 timber frame units per year.  Using the latest software and cutting equipment we manufacture timber frame wall panels, floors, and roofs, delivered to site by our transport fleet.

Our timber frame customers may also benefit from our structural steel department, when required.
