Taylor Lane provides a complete roof truss service from concept consultation to design, manufacture and delivery to site. Roof trusses can be ordered as part of a timber frame kit or stand-alone, ideal for standard brick and block construction.
Using the latest roof truss engineering and design software, detailed and dimensioned plans are provided to allow the product to be installed correctly and efficiently. Our designers are on-hand throughout.
Taylor Lane uses the latest Hundegger computerised saws to enable accurate cutting with maximum speed. The individual components are then assembled on a 25m long table press.
Being members of the Trussed Rafter Association (TRA) Taylor Lane has a third party supervised Quality Assurance scheme. Together with PEFC and FSC certified timbers, this ensures that the manufacturing process is carried out to the highest standard producing a high-quality end product.
Taylor Lane can undertake all types of roofs from a simple garage, attic “room in the roof” through to vast, complex structures such as care homes.

What are roof trusses?
Roof trusses are structural engineered individual components made from kiln-dried TR26 timbers, treated (VAC VAC) to cycle ‘F’ requirements, joined together with steel nail-plates. They are designed to support the roof fabric, ceilings and/or floors, together with providing the shape of the roof.
Can I buy roof trusses independent of the timber frame kit?
Yes. We design, manufacture and supply pre-fabricated roof trusses. This can be either as part of a timber frame kit where we will include all of the ancillaries to go with the roof (such as the metalwork, structural bracing and the fascia, barge and soffit boards), or we can supply trusses and the bracing elements for standard brick and block construction. Drawings and structural calculations are prepared and along with standard construction details, assist workers on site.
